CANCELLED - "The Creative Fire of Folklore:" A Poetry Reading and Workshop with Susan Comninos
Celebrate National Poetry Month with poet Susan Comninos! Susan, a teacher of creative writing whose works have been widely published, will read from her recent book Out of Nowhere. After the reading, Ms. Comninos will facilitate a writing workshop that invites participants to explore their family and cultural legacies and the beloved folklore of those traditions. Susan Comninos' poems have appeared in such journals as Harvard Review Online, Ratltle, and Prarie Schooner. Since 2017, she has taught writing at Capital Region colleges and SUNY Albany.
Reading materials will be provided. Teens and adults are welcome to register.
