Poetry Cafe: A Look at Our Laureates - Robert Pinsky Online
For this season of Poetry Cafe, we'll be discussing the work of some U.S. Poet Laureates. We'll learn a bit about them and the impact they've had, as well as read and discuss a few of each of their poems. Please register online.
Robert Pinsky, editor of anthologies and accomplished poet and educator, is a natural ambassador for poetry. During the time he served after being appointed Poet Laureate in 1997, Pinksy found ways to bring poetry to the people, while also collecting and promoting the poems most cherished by Americans with The Favorite Poem Project.
