Tree Identification Walk to Congress Park

Tree Identification Walk to Congress Park In-Person

We look at trees every day but do you know which type of tree you’re looking at? When we learn how to identify a species, it fosters interest and appreciation for the nature around us. Join Tori Herkalo, Environmental Educator from Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, for a fun and interactive walk for adults and teens to learn the basics of identifying native trees in our very own Congress Park. Meet at the Library's outside patio on the Putnam Street side of the building at 10:00 a.m. Please register online.
