Mindfulness Meditation with Susan Meyer - Online

Mindfulness Meditation with Susan Meyer - Online In-Person

Mindfulness meditation promotes well-being from the inside-out. More than four decades of research has shown that mindfulness benefits people struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, distractibility, high sensitivity, and difficult life transitions. During this time of deep suffering and uncertainty, many are turning to mindfulness practices as a refuge in the storm.

This five-week course (6/1, 6/8, 6/15, 6/22, 6/29) will provide practical support for developing a daily meditation practice that’s appropriate for you (or fine-tuning it, if you have one already); cultivating basic mindfulness skills; and applying those skills to meeting life’s challenges, to respond wisely instead of reactively. You’ll learn strategies to awaken to mindfulness and compassion when you’re in the thick of difficulty and dramatically shift the experience of your life, the people in it, and the world itself.

Each class will include instruction, a guided practice exercise, and Q&A.

This program is offered through Zoom videoconferencing. In advance of the first class, we will send an email to you containing an invitation and link to join the Zoom meeting. You may prepare in advance to participate by tablet, smart phone or computer by downloading the Zoom app. Please see the Zoom instructions for joining a meeting if you have any questions.
