Alaska, the Last Frontier

Alaska, the Last Frontier In-Person

Join nature photographer, Peter Benoit, for a photographic journey through the natural wonder of American's 49th state. Peter travelled to Alaska twice in recent years. His 2016 trip included a plane flight that landed on a glacier below the summit of Denali, the highest peak in North America. In 2018, he traveled by helicopter to Chinitna Bay on the shores of Lake Clark National Park to photograph grizzly bears feeding on salmon. Peter Benoit is based in Queensbury, NY. His photographs frequently celebrate life within the Adirondack’s “Blue Line” along with other regions of North America and Europe. Co-sponsored by the Adirondack Mountain Club.
