Friday Flicks: Searching for Sugar Man In-Person
Join us on Friday afternoons in February as we screen films celebrating music and musicians. Searching for Sugar Man is based on the story of Rodriguez, an American folk musician whose brief career fizzled into obscurity. Unbeknownst to him, a bootleg copy of his recordings made its way to South Africa, where his music became a huge success. The film follows two South African fans who make it their mission to find the long-lost musician. No registration required.
