Grim Readers In-Person

Grim Readers is a book club for those of us who prefer to keep things scary. Each month's book selections will be representative of what's trending in the world of horror and weird literature, and will certainly appeal to your inner-ghoul! We'll also order up some grub to go along with the ghosts. Our winter selections are: 

  • 12/16 Happy Horrordays! Selections from Hark the Herald Angels Scream, edited by Christopher Golden. Copies of selected stories will be at the Information Desk. We will be reading: Absinthe and Angels by Kelley Armstrong, Love Me by Thomas Sniegoski, and Good Deeds by Jeff Strand. Of course, you're more than welcome (and encouraged!) to read all the stories in the book!
  • 1/13 Donner Party...not a party: The Hunger by Alma Katsu
  • 2/10 Celebrate Women in Horror Month: Monster She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction by Lisa Kroger and Melanie Anderson
