Join our Children's Librarian, Kristine, as she travels around Saratoga Springs with a super fun story time. This month we'll do a story time at Sunnyside Gardens, 345 Church St., Saratoga Springs. Afterwards, participants are invited to enjoy the grounds, including the Pumpkin Hall of Flame and the pumpkin patch. Story time will be outside. If there is inclement weather, we'll move it inside the garden center. Story time is intended for children ages 2-5 but siblings are welcome with accompanying adult.

What to Expect

  • Story time is 25 minutes and includes 3 books, interspersed with songs, rhymes, movement activities and props like egg shakers and scarves. Caregivers sit with children during story time.
  •  Explore the grounds at your own pace after story time.
  • The library is not responsible for transportation. Participants drive to the site; parking information will be sent via email several days in advance.

Sensory Information

  • Story time will be moderately busy (Registration open to 15 children).
  • We'll be outdoors. If there is inclement weather, we will do story time in the garden center.

Supports

  • Seating will be available. There will be a mixture of seating on hay bales and chairs.

Registration is required. There are 2 seats available.
