Safe Options Support (SOS) is a collaborative program between Rehabilitation Support Services (RSS) an the New York State Office of Mental Health.

  • The SOS team works with adults who are homeless in Albany, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties. The SOS team helps facilitate housing placements and linkages to support services to help individuals build skill and strengthen community ties.

  • To qualify, individuals must be street homeless, in a shelter, or in a motel through DSS. Individuals can be referred through providers, or can self-refer by calling 518-391-1077 or emailing CapitalDistrict-SOSReferrals@rehab.org
