Homeschoolers in grades 3-8 plus their families, come hang out at the Saratoga National Historical Park to learn Wilderness Survival 101. Meet at the Saratoga National Park Visitor Center. Park Ranger Bill will teach us some essentials for survival in a wilderness environment.  Turn an "oh no!" situation into an "OK, I'm breathing deep and calming myself, I've got this!" experience. This program is co-presented by the Saratoga Springs Public Library and the Schuylerville Library. Younger siblings may tag along, but the activities are intended for kids in grades 3 and up. Be prepared for chilly weather with long sleeves, pants, and sturdy footwear. Insect repellent is recommended as ticks may still be active. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park after the program is over.

Please register each child attending online.
