Trout Release at Saratoga Spa State Park

Families are invited to the exciting Trout Release at Geyser Creek in Saratoga Spa State Park. Participate in crafts and activities at tables manned by Saratoga Springs Public Library and other community organizations. Please dress for the weather. Boots are recommended. Bring a bucket if you have one. No registration required.
What to Expect:
- You will be outdoors. Dress for the weather.
- Ground may be wet and slippery; wear boots
- Bring a pail for the fish if you have one
- If it is raining, crafts may be inside the Creekside Classroom
- The line to get your fish to release may be long
Sensory:
- Fish will be wiggly but you can just empty your bucket into the water
- There will be a lot of families, so it will be loud
Supports:
- If the activity you are interested in is busy, go to another and return later
- If the line is too long, stay busy at an activity table and wait for the line to get shorter.
- Everyone gets one fish to release--they will not run out so don't worry
