Step into Spring with Saratoga Springs Public Library! Students in grades 7-12 are invited to come to the Teen Room and learn how to press their own pin-back buttons. No registration required.

What to Expect 

  • Participants will each make their own 1.25-inch pinback button(s). 

  • Both pre-cut-colored templates and blank templates for customization will be provided. 

  • All supplies will be available on the table, along with a step-by-step instruction guide for creating a pinback button. 

  • No specific seating is required while making buttons. 

  • Buttons can be made at any time during Teen Room open hours. 

Sensory Information 

  • The Teen Room may be significantly busy and noisy.   

  • Some smells from food/drinks in the Teen Room may be noticeable. 

  • Bright overhead lights.  

  • The button maker creates a loud noise when pressing the button together. 

Supports 

  • Participants are welcome to take breaks or step out of the room as needed.
