Toddler Story Time is an early literacy program that includes highly interactive books, songs, and activities to foster emerging language skills. This program is for children ages 18-36 months with a caregiver. No registration required.
What to Expect:
- Caregivers will sit with their children and encourage them to participate. It is OK if your child wants to sit and watch
- Program will include one longish book and one shorter book interspersed with songs and rhymes
- This will be followed by a related activity like a craft project or flannel board activity
Sensory Information:
- Sit on the floor mats or on the chair
- The group is large and it may be noisy at time
Supports:
- Feel free to leave early or take a break and rejoin later
- Sensory kits are available for library use--go to the desk to check out a kit
