This session is an introduction to using a computer. You will practice using the keyboard and mouse, learn basic terminology, and practice launching apps from a computer. We'll also spend time comparing the differences between desktop interfaces and tablet or smartphone apps. If there is time, we will practice creating and saving a document or file and then review how to search for documents and files. We will also briefly discuss cloud storage. This series is a two week commitment. Register through our online calendar, or by calling 518-584-7860 option 4 or 5.

Part Two will be held on Friday, January 23 at 10:30 a.m.
This class will explore the functions of the World Wide Web, Internet, Browsers, Search Engines, and Social Media. We will discuss how to spot bogus information and how to identify scams and fake news.
