Come celebrate the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie with us! Kids in grades K-6 (and their families) are invited for crafts, Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch, a real-life version of Mario Party, and refreshments. Costumes are encouraged! Registration is not required, but space is limited based on room capacity.
What to Expect:
- Tables set up for crafts, with teen volunteers providing hands-on visual instruction.
- Nintendo Switch console and projector screen set up for Mario Kart, up to 4 players at a time, with a volunteer managing turns.
- Real-life simplified version of Mario Party being played on the side, with a volunteer managing turns.
- Table of juice boxes and prepackaged store-bought snacks for attendees.
Sensory Information:
- There will be music playing and noise from games.
- Room may be moderately to very busy, depending on number of attendees.
Supports:
- Participants can move freely around the room, and leave early or take breaks as needed.
- Librarian will be on hand for any questions or concerns.
