Teens, take a trip around the world - without leaving the library! Students in grades 7-12 are invited to the Teen Room each month to sample the snacks, create a craft, and discover the culture of a new country.

No registration required. While supplies last. 

Our March destination is Ireland inspired by St. Patrick's Day!

What to Expect  

  • The librarian will serve participants food/drinks imported or inspired by the country of Ireland. Participants will have the option of additionally creating an Irish themed craft. 

  • Books about Ireland will be on hand in the Teen Room for participants to browse. 

  • Supplies will be laid out on the table, with allergen information available. 

  • No specific seating is for eating required. The crafting portion takes place at a high-top table with tall chairs.  

  • Lower-height seating is available upon request.    

Sensory Information  

  • The Teen Room may be significantly busy and noisy.   

  • Bright overhead lights.  

  • Some smells from food/drinks in the Teen Room may be noticeable. 

  • Irish music will be playing moderately loud.
