For this meeting of our online poetry discussion group, we will read poems of praise and appreciation. This tradition finds historical roots in African poetry as well as that of the Renaissance, and is embraced by contemporary poets. Join this librarian-led look at poems that sit in admiration of all manner of things. Registrants may participate in conversation or just listen and enjoy. Please register online.
Handouts of selected poems will be available prior to the meeting: via email, for registrants, and at the Information desk.
