In this online poetry discussion group, we'll look at poems of resistance. What makes for good political poems? And why is poetry more important than ever in challenging times? We'll read and discuss those that detail an injustice, or embody the sentiments of ‘the people,’ while still amplifying the beauty we can find when the going gets tough. Selected poems will range centuries and continent, including Wilfred Owen and Natasha Trethewey. Please register online.
