Music and movement is a high-energy program incorporating movement, songs, and dancing. With the help of their caregivers, children will practice listening and following directions and work on their fine and gross motor skills. Many songs introduce concepts like directional words, patterns, and parts of the body. This program is for children ages 0-5 with a caregiver. Registration is not required for this program, but space is limited based on room capacity.

What to expect:

  • A loud, high-energy program in a crowded room

  • Caregivers will sit with their children and encourage them to participate. It is okay if your child wants to sit and watch.

  • Children will practice listening and following directions and work on their fine and gross motor skills.

  • 30 minutes of songs that incorporate movement and concepts like directional words, patterns, animals, and parts of the body.

  • One song that everyone sings all together.

  • One song using props like egg shakers, ribbons, or scarves

  • Caregivers of babies can help them participate by helping them move parts of their body, bouncing them to the rhythm, or modeling movements for them. We will also do one lap bounce song specifically for the babies.

  • We will open the doors 5 minutes before the program starts, but if you are running late, feel free to come in quietly and join us any time.
