Haunted Saratoga Walking Ghost Tour for Adults In-Person
It's Spooky Season in Saratoga, and the best time to explore some of Saratoga Springs' haunted history! Join us on a walking tour, led by Joe Haedrich, proprietor of Haunted Saratoga Ghost Tours, for an informative and creepy stroll through our paranormal past that starts and ends at the library. This tour is intended for grownups, as it may be a little too spooky for younger audiences, but fear not: the other walking tour scheduled for 4 p.m. will be tailored for kids and families. Space is very limited, and registration is required. We will meet on the Putnam St. patio and depart promptly at 2 p.m. Please register online.
Attending this program qualifies for our Fear the Library challenge.

Parking information for Saratoga Springs Public Library:
Between 9am and 6pm, parking in the Library’s parking lot is restricted to LIBRARY PARKING LOT PERMIT holders. Residents of the Saratoga Springs City School District, and members of the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library at the Ex Libris level or higher, who are library card holders in good standing, are eligible for permits. To obtain a permit, if eligible, please bring your library card or driver’s license, and your vehicle’s registration to the Circulation Desk.
Where do I park if I want to visit the Library and am not eligible for a LIBRARY PARKING LOT PERMIT?
- There is free on-street parking in the vicinity of the library, particularly on Henry Street and the blocks to the east, but also on Broadway and some streets between Broadway and Putnam Street. Please be mindful of posted regulations, such as those regarding time limits and/or alternate side parking rules.
- There are also two City-owned municipal parking lots across the street from each other, within a block of the Library: one at Spring Street with entrances from Henry and Putnam Streets; and one at Spring Street, with a lower level entrance on Putnam Street, and an upper level entrance on Phila Street. While the City’s Seasonal Paid Parking Program is in effect, the fee for City-owned lots is $2 per hour or fraction thereof.
