Memorize that Poem! In-Person
Do you know a child who loves poetry and has memorized a favorite poem? We invite them to recite a poem for us at the Children's Room Desk any day during April, which is National Poetry Month. Participants will receive a Stewart's ice cream coupon. No registration required.

The poem can be any kind of poem, from a haiku to a nursery rhyme or even an original poem. If you’re looking for poems to memorize, ask a librarian to show you the Children's poetry book section. We'll also have some suggestions at the Children's Room Desk. The program runs for the month of April. Program participation prize is limited to one ice cream coupon per child for the month.
