Leaf Scavenger Hunt and Mobile Craft In-Person
Celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day and explore Congress Park, site of the original Saratoga Native American encampment over 100 years ago. Meet at the Carousel at Congress Park where Environmental Educators from Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park will lead us on a leaf scavenger hunt. Afterwards, use some of the leaves we have collected to construct a mobile to take home and hang as a welcoming symbol. If weather is rainy, we will retreat to the library's Crawshaw Story Room to make our mobile.
For grades K-5 with an accompanying adult. Register each person who will be attending beginning three weeks before either online, in the Children's Room or by calling 518-584-7860, ext. 305.
