Living with Parkinson's Disease Online
Join this special Zoom presentation to learn how a family accepts a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease for the Mom at 44 years old. As a college student, Sequoia Lowe created a rap video to demonstrate his mother's resilience and courage in navigating this challenge. Mom and another friend, Heather Kennedy with Parkinson's rap about what it is like to live with PD. The video aired on news outlets in CT, and has over 8,500 views, and has raised over $5,000 for Team Fox of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Join us to see this creative representation of what it's like to live with Parkinson's, meet Sequoia and his mom Joni to learn more about the making of the video. There will be time for Q&A.
